Pancake day
Pancake day is a festivity celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday, it's also called Shrove Tuesday. This festivity is celebrated in the UK, in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. In many towns to celebrate this festivity, people organise a pancake race. People must run a race with a frying pan and toss the pancakes as they run. In Newfoundland, Canada, the cook puts a ring or a coin in the pancakes. The person who finds the coin will be rich and the person who finds the ring will be next to get married.
